Everyone at NYU Langone is fully focused on the needs of our patients, including those of us who work in nonclinical roles. Nonclinical professionals are essential to efficient operation and services and play a crucial role in the success of our organization. While much of what these individuals do is behind the scenes, the impact of their work and the importance of non-clinical positions within our institution cannot be emphasized enough.
Communications and Marketing Careers
The communications team is credited with creating a bold and memorable brand for NYU Langone. We have been able to position NYU Langone at the forefront of the academic medical center community, both locally and nationally. Today, our work is centered on advancing brand recognition through new initiatives focused on key service lines, media outreach, digital communications, multichannel marketing, and internal communications.
We have the advantage of working with an extremely collaborative team that is supported by highly motivated and entrepreneurial leadership. Everyone works closely within the Office of Communications and Marketing to develop creative programs that are aligned to best meet the needs of our internal and external clients.
Development and Alumni Affairs Careers
NYU Langone’s Office of Development and Alumni Affairs is literally changing the skyline of New York City. We are at the center of an extraordinary campus transformation and have already raised more than $2.2 billion.
We are supporting fundraising efforts across NYU Langone, including clinical care, research, and education in critical areas such as Cancer, Cardiac and Vascular, Musculoskeletal, Neurosciences, and Pediatrics.
Our Development team is one of the most robust in the country; employees have hailed from Fortune 500 companies, consulting and financial services firms, pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, nonprofits, and a number of other backgrounds.
Real Estate Development and Facilities (RED+F) is one of the largest corporate groups within NYU Langone Medical Center, with nearly 800 employees. We provide strategic campus planning and project development services, including architectural studies, programming, design, construction, and associated infrastructure and technological upgrades, for new facilities as well as renovations to existing structures. We also operate and manage all facilities, infrastructure, and related support services across NYU Langone.
RED+F plays a vital role in translating the medical center’s vision into the physical reality. Core to that vision is the Campus Transformation initiative, which began in 2007 and involves the construction of major new facilities on our main campus between 34th and 30th Streets in Manhattan, as well as a critical expansion of our outreach into the 5 boroughs and beyond.
