Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Solutions Development Developer I

Job Responsibilities:

  • Other duties may include editing and coordination of print and/or e-mail newsletters, creation of educational materials for patients, monitoring the impact of the website through patient questionnaires, and creating reports for managers.
  • In addition to making day-to-day changes to the NYU Otolaryngology and Surgery website, the Web Editor may also be involved in the development of one or more new websites related to the Departments of Otolaryngology and Surgery.
  • The Web Editor will work with the Department of Otolaryngology and Surgery faculty to create original written, video and/or audio content for the web. He/she will also develop and implement a strategy to continue to grow website traffic through search engine optimization, managing inbound links from other websites, e-mail marketing, search marketing and/or use of social media.
  • The Web Editor will manage the NYU Otolaryngology and Surgery website and other electronic and print marketing communications for NYU Departments of Otolaryngology and Surgery at the NYU School of Medicine.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a 1-2 years related experience with web design; Equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required

Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
