Dietary at NYU Langone


Meeting the dietary needs of our patients, visitors, and employees is an enormous undertaking. We manage the entire process from nutrition care to food preparation to meal service.

Food and Nutrition Services consists of over 300 talented individuals annually serving over 3 million total meals. Our new state of the art kitchen opened October 17, 2013. We are currently in the planning process for the design and building of the new main cafeteria dining area which is targeted to open by Summer 2015 to supplement the other satellite retail venues located in Tisch, Smilow, ACC, and at HJD.

In addition, we participate in the NYC Department of Health “Healthy Hospital Food” Initiative for patient meals, cafeterias, and vending.

We are committed to transforming the healthcare foodservice experience at NYU Langone Medical Center and are a proud participant in the Medical Center’s journey to “World Class”.
