NYU Langone Medical Center has exciting for-credit*, as well as, paid internship opportunities available for students who wish to gain experience in their field of study. Our current intern partnerships include:

In order to participate in our Interns for Credit Program, students must:
- Be eligible to earn college credit.
- Have an Internship partnership program that has been established and approved by both their school and NYU Langone Medical Center.
- Minimum number of hours will vary based on NYU Langone department and school program requirements.
- Have excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Possess PC proficiency, and other skills dependent upon department.

Rusk Health Career Opportunity Program
This program consists of three four-week internships that provide students with a hands-on clinical experience and exposure to the diversity and variety of health professions. Learn more
The Student Intern must be a full-time student, or if working in the Summer months (mid-May through mid-September), must be planning to return to full-time status in the Fall. During non-summer months, the incumbent can work a maximum of 17 hours per week.
Federal College Work Study (CWS) Students
Our Federal CWS students are hired through New York University Wasserman Center for Career Development. Eligibility is determined by New York University based on federal funding.
Child Study Center Camp Interns
The Student Intern must be a full-time student, or if working in the Summer months (mid-May through mid-September), must be planning to return to full-time status in the Fall. The Student Intern will be working in the Summer Program for Kids which is a therapeutic program located at The College of New Rochelle in New Rochelle, New York.
Student Research Interns
The Student Intern must be a full-time student, or if working in the Summer months (mid-May through mid-September), must be planning to return to full-time status in the Fall. Functions performed must be related to their professional course of study or specialty field.
Medical Student Interns
This position is used for visiting medical students that will be paid on a R25 grant for Research Education.
NYU Langone’s Rusk Vocational Rehabilitation department aids in helping individuals with disabilities find employment in the competitive marketplace through innovative programs and services. Through these internships, individuals are able to gain valuable work experience and further develop their job-related skills and competencies. We offer flexible work schedules for Vocational Interns.
The Summer Assistant Intern must be a full-time student working during summer break (mid-May through mid-September) and planning to return to full-time student status in the Fall.
