New Hire Orientation & Residency
Upon hire, new graduates with a BSN degree immediately enter into a competency-based Orientation that can last up to 12 weeks depending on your unit and unique learning needs. After Orientation, you will participate in a one-year, CCNE-accredited Nurse Residency Program designed to promote professional practice through specific clinical and educational activities.

Clinical Ladder Program
Throughout your professional nursing practice at NYU Langone Medical Center, you will be encouraged, supported, and recognized as you advance through the four levels of our Clinical Ladder: Staff Nurse, Senior Staff Nurse, Nurse Clinician, and Senior Nurse Clinician.
