To qualify you must have a Minimum Qualifications:Licensure:Current New York State Physician Assistant License Education:Physician Assistant Bachelors Degree (BA-PA), Masters degree preferred Certifications:NCCPA Board Certification, ACLS, PALS, NRP Provider (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), NALS per delineation of privileges. Competence:At least 4 years of clinical practice in specialty area, required. Evidence of excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication skills, creative problem solving and excellent critical thinking skills. Previously demonstrated ability to facilitate group processes and work cohesively and collaboratively as member of the interdisciplinary team. Ability to interface effectively with other disciplines and departments to achieve desired clinical outcomes, decrease length of stay and efficiently utilize resources.Ability to demonstrate critical thinking and innovative ideas in problem solvingKnowledge and experience in coordinating a group of Physician Assistants activities including scheduling, and distribution of patient assignments.Physical stamina, manual dexterity, visual and aural acuity to perform responsibilities. Membership in professional specialty organizations desirable.
