Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Commissioning Engineer.
In this role, the successful candidate is responsible for the commissioning (Cx) of up to 25-30 construction projects concurrently. Liaison between design, construction and operations departments. Develop bid specifications for Cx vendors, monitor construction and punch list activities, participate and review all construction documents. Manage close-out processes for Cxd projects. Self-commission projects as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
2+ years total construction/commissioning/engineering experience; intern/military/merchant marine experience considered.
OSHA safety training required at time of hire.
Excellent computer skills in engineering/architectural software applications, such as Bluebeam Revu, AutoCAD as well as Excel, Access and Word.
Good communication and interpersonal skills required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with all types of mechanical and electrical systems, building control systems, utility distribution.
Must possess the ability to function in stressful situations and respond to emergency conditions.
Hospital experience a plus.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
