To qualify you must have a Associates Degree in a related field inclusive of training in hygiene or sanitation management
At least 2 years of managerial experience in a comparable function. Additional management experience may be substituted for the degree on a year for year basis
Certified in ServSafe (within 6 months of hire)
The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene Qualifying Certificate in Food Protection (successful completion within 6 months of hire)
In-depth knowledge of all relevant health and hygiene regulations
Good IT knowledge in MS Office or related software and conducting internet search
Must be able to read, write, and speak English
Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
