Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Learning Development Specialist.
In this role, the successful candidate is responsible for achieving in-depth knowledge of assigned Epic applications and operational functions and be able to communicate effectively to end users in a classroom, webinar, eLearning and at elbow support setting. The trainer will be expected to keep materials and classroom environment pleasant and current. The trainer will work with the appropriate partners to facilitate the creation of tip sheets and form healthy relationships and communications with application teams to begin to understand how Epic functionality is designed to meet the end user’s needs. The trainer will participate in QA sessions and design curriculum to improve quality, new initiatives, and applications.
Job Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
At least two years of facilitator experience.
At Least one year of experience in curriculum development- Instructional Design. Demonstrated experience in the creative design, development, and/or delivery of non-technical training to an adult audience (Samples requested).
At least one year experience with eLearning authoring software, and Document Editing software.
By experience or education, abilities related to learner analysis; course structure, content treatment, organization, sequencing, and outlining; and objective writing.
Must show functional understanding of professional billing office trends, practices, training initiatives, quality programs, coaching, and the unique demands placed on frontline staff.
Must be learner-focused, with the ability to develop targeted materials based on learner preferences, characteristics, competencies, etc.
Must have demonstrated solid writing and grammar skills related to informational and instructional material.
Must be a high-performing PC user and highly functional in the Windows Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point).
Must have experience in facilitating curricula virtually.
Must possess solid training delivery skills related to motivating and capturing the attention of adult learners; must display high energy, confidence, a sense of fun, and the desire to provide an interactive and memorable learning experience.
Must exhibit patience, empathy, and other rapport building qualities.
Must be task, team, and deadline oriented; must be a team player.
Must have demonstrated experience in communicating effectively with all staff levels within and beyond the Central Billing Office.
Preferred Qualifications:
Healthcare background preferred within a Customer Service, Professional Billing, or Contact Center setting.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
