Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist – **IVF**.
In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day endocrine testing in NYU Fertility Center Laboratory in Bronxville effective May 2023. The person in this position performs laboratory procedures ensuring that timely quality reports are available for physicians to be used in patient diagnosis and treatment. Technologist may process specimens as part of research projects authorized by the NYUFC Laboratory Director. Qualifications of licensed laboratory staff must be written and used as guidelines in the evaluation of laboratory applicants. Licensed laboratory staff must have written responsibilities that will be used as guidelines for periodic performance assessments. Works under general direction.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Minimum Qualifications: Must possess a current State, National and/or Local Union Medical Technologist License, where applicable. ASCP or equivalent preferred. The Laboratory Technologist must be qualified as a medical technologist pursuant to the provisions of section 58-1.5(b) of the NYS Clinical Laboratory Subpart 58-1. 2 years of clinical laboratory generalist experience preferred. Pursuant to CFR 493.1489 (qualifications), each individual performing high complexity testing must have the skills required. .

Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications: Endocrinology experience, scientific research experience.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $85,109.20 – $107,161.20 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
