Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Registered Nurse Critical Care Float.
In this role, the successful candidate The Registered Professional Staff Nurse (RN) assumes responsibility for nursing care and outcomes for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via the nursing process in collaboration with other members of the health team.
Job Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Must be a graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program, Registered Nurse License-NYS, BLS Certification..
Required Licenses: Registered Nurse License-NYS, Basic Life Support Cert
Preferred Qualifications:
2 years Critical Care or ED experience preferred
In lieu of Critical Care or ED experience a minimum of 2 years Progressive/Intermediate care experience will be considered
In lieu of Progressive/Intermediate Care experience a minimum of 2 years Med/Surg experience will be considered
Specialty certification preferred
BCLS, ACLS required
PALS required within 6 months
TNCC required within 1 year
NIHSS and 8 hours of Stroke education required
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $99,087.06 – $129,087.06 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
