The NYU Grossman School of Medicine Department of Pathology is inviting applications for a clinical pathologist at the assistant or associate level to serve as the Medical Director for Hematology and Coagulation, Special Hematology and Coagulation, and SPEP/IFE Laboratories. The successful candidate will join a team of 7 Clinical Pathologists with diverse subspecialties. The Tisch Hospital clinical laboratory performs approximately 8 million clinical laboratory tests annually and is currently undergoing a renovation plan that will make it a state-of-the-art laboratory with automation and current technologies.

The successful candidate must be board certified in Clinical Pathology with experience in directing a Clinical Pathology service. The candidate must be licensed to practice medicine in New York State and be qualified for a New York Certificate of Qualification (COQ) in Clinical Pathology disciplines. In addition to clinical service, this position requires teaching pathology residents, students, and clinical fellows. Collaborative research opportunities are abundant.
