Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a CAT Scan Technologist **Staten Island**.
In this role, the successful candidate is responsible for performing medically prescribed radiographic and CT procedures. Utilizes computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-section images of patients internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues. Accurately interpret a physicians scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the CT scan equipment and position the patient to capture the appropriate images.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Technical Diploma Graduate of AMA approved school of Radiology or Imaging Services. New York State Radiologic Technologist License. American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)Advanced Certification in CT required within one (1) year of Hire or transfer. New York State Department of Health IV Contrast Injection Certification, (Part 89-Section89. 40) required within one (1) year of Hire or transfer. Strong communication (both written and oral), problem solving, and customer service skills. Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $101,311.00 – $111,911.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
