The Child Study Center (CSC) at NYU Langone Health is looking for an energetic, self-motivated and driven board certified/board eligible child and adolescent psychiatrist for our Manhattan office. This is a full‐time position predominately focused in clinical care with opportunities for teaching and other academic endeavors. The position carries an academic appointment within the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, which is one of only two independent child and adolescent psychiatry departments within an academic medical center in the nation. This is an exciting opportunity to join a robust team of individuals who enjoy collaborative, interdisciplinary work and the training of graduate and post graduate physicians, psychologists and social workers. The psychiatrist will report directly to the Clinical Director of the Faculty Group Practice.
The Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry supports a hybrid work arrangement. This position includes dedicated onsite space at our Manhattan office, with a structured onsite/remote schedule determined by clinical needs and space availability.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for new patients and provide timely written feedback.
· Develop and implement psychopharmacological treatment plans for children, adolescents, and adults.
· Provide evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions for children, adolescents, and families.
· Collaborate with other healthcare providers and interpret medical/behavioral health results to inform patient care.
· Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews and contribute to individualized treatment planning.
· Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation.
· Offer evening hours as needed to ensure access to appropriate clinical care.
· Provide consultation services to schools, community institutions, and external providers.
· Fulfill on-call and coverage responsibilities, including participation in Bellevue call schedules.
· Supervise and teach medical students, residents, and trainees as assigned.
· Lead educational workshops, webinars, and presentations for professionals and the community.
· Participate in continuing education, including weekly Case Conferences and Grand Rounds.
· Serve as a clinical resource for non-medical staff managing complex cases.

Salary is dependent on experience and qualifications
- Minimum Annual Salary: $231,501
- Maximum Annual Salary: $251,000
The listed salary range applies to full-time employment and excludes incentive supplemental compensation and benefits. Additional opportunities for supplemental pay are available. The actual salary may vary based on experience, training, hospital/community needs, and other factors.

Step 1

Step 2
Schedule Interviews
If selected to continue the interview process, HR will reach out via phone or email first. Then, depending on your position, they will schedule an interview with unit managers or team members. You are encouraged to dress professionally for all interviews.
Step 3
Receive Offer
If you successfully complete the interview process and are identified as a finalist for the position, we will require that you complete a professional reference process. After evaluating the completed references, a decision will be made on who will receive a preliminary offer. If you receive a preliminary offer, HR will start the onboarding process with an agreed-upon tentative start date.
Step 4
Training & Orientation
You will be contacted by an onboarding specialist who will work with you on your pre-boarding requirements. Once fully cleared, we will ask you to complete compliance orientation regulatory training. On your first day, you will attend an online required orientation to acclimate to the health system and report to your new department based on instructions provided by your hiring manager.
