Medical Assistants play an essential role throughout the hospitals of NYU Langone and within our fast-growing Faculty Group Practice Physician and Ambulatory Network. We aim to accommodate and service our patients in a professional, courteous, fast-paced environment that ensures a seamless patient experience. Your ability to serve as a physician extender supporting our medical and nursing team is vital to our mission to provide world-class patient care.

We will look to you to facilitate efficient service and patient flow, take vitals, maintain accurate medical records, and provide hands-on assistance in the exam room. The ability to communicate effectively with people of all ages and ethnicities is essential for success here, as is the completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Certificate Program. An Associate’s degree and at least one year of experience, including EKG and Phlebotomy are strongly preferred for candidates who wish to join us.
