Our communications and marketing team is credited with creating a bold and memorable brand for NYU Langone across a variety of channels, including advertising, marketing, media, publications, internal communications, and digital communications. Today, our work is centered on advancing brand recognition, increasing awareness of our world-class clinical care, educational programs, and research advances, and driving appointments for medical services.

Everyone works closely within the Office of Communications and Marketing to develop strategic and creative communications platforms aligned to best meet the needs of our internal and external clients and institutional goals.

In partnership with a dedicated philanthropic community, the Office of Development and Alumni Affairs helped to transform NYU Langone into one of the top academic health systems in the country and continues to foster significant advancements enterprise-wide. Our team recently completed a $3 billion campaign, which rallied tremendous local and national support, including NYU Grossman School of Medicine’s thriving alumni network. This remarkable base of individuals, families, foundations, and organizations provided critical funding for our large-scale Manhattan campus transformation and is a driving force behind the enterprise’s expansive research portfolio, innovations in medical education, and one of the nation’s best and safest patient care programs. In 2018, our medical school made history with its Tuition Free initiative, becoming the first top-tier medical school in the country to provide full-tuition scholarships to all MD degree students—funded entirely through philanthropy. In the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, our team has mobilized, reorganized, and reimagined our mission of support for those striving to save and improve lives on the front lines and behind the scenes.

The Office of Development and Alumni Affairs focuses on carrying this extraordinary momentum forward. It offers unique opportunities for fundraising or other skilled professionals passionate about the power of philanthropy in healthcare and health education. We are a robust team of individuals bringing varied professional and personal experiences to a creative, collaborative fundraising shop.

Real Estate Development and Facilities (RED+F) is one of the largest corporate groups within NYU Langone, with nearly 1,000 employees. We provide strategic campus planning and project development services, including architectural studies, programming, design, construction, and associated infrastructure and technological upgrades for new facilities and renovations to existing structures across the five boroughs. We also operate and manage all facilities, infrastructure, and related support services across NYU Langone.

Our Campus Transformation initiative, which began in 2007, involves the construction and renovation of facilities on our main campus and throughout Manhattan, as well as an extensive expansion of our Brooklyn and Long Island campuses, which includes NYU Langone Hospital—Long Island and beyond.

The Finance department and its many divisions are integral to developing and implementing the financial roadmap for NYU Langone, ensuring the health and well-being of the organization as it continues to grow and change and supporting the operational activities necessary to support the larger enterprise.
