Administrative & Temporary Support
Administrative and Temporary Support professionals play a vital role throughout the NYU Langone organization, helping to organize and coordinate everything from committee meetings and data analysis to interviews, payroll and beyond.
Business Office Careers
Working within the Business Office provides the opportunity to support our three missions – clinical care, teaching, and research – in the areas of Finance, Operations, Statistics, Project Management, and Strategic Planning. We are also active in faculty recruitment, employment policies and procedures, and organization-wide transformation efforts.
Faculty Group Practice Careers
NYU Langone Faculty Group Practice (FGP) includes more than 3,100 physicians across more than 285 medical practices and ambulatory sites throughout the tri-state area. Our goal is to provide world class care in the neighborhoods in which our patients live and work. We are dedicated to:
- improving the health and wellness of the community.
- achieving the institutional mission of the NYU Grossman School of Medicine.
- providing clinical experience for medical students and residents.
- creating programs that result in translational research.
Ongoing growth and expansion have created new opportunities within this arena and we continue to seek talented administrative professionals who can efficiently and effectively support the needs of our physician and faculty practices at locations throughout the area.
NYU Langone In-House Temp Program
The In-House Temp program is a great opportunity for people seeking a career in healthcare, needing a flexible schedule and interested in maintaining a relationship with NYU Langone.
We strongly encourage growth and development among our temporary staff, including training on Epic which helps advance skills and knowledge in the medical field. On average, 50 percent of our in-house temporary employees transition into permanent opportunities on a yearly basis. Temporary positions can include medical administrative/clinical support, administrative management, research support, physical therapy and occupational therapy.
Temporary staff members must adhere to all NYU Langone policies and guidelines, and may be eligible for abbreviated benefits, such as short-term disability, Workers Compensation, paid sick leave (under Earned Sick Time Act), commuter benefits program, travel accident insurance, NY Sports Club discount membership, and participation in a voluntary 403(b) Retirement Plan.
