Clinical Support

The Clinical Support team at NYU Langone is integral to providing the best patient-centered care. We are the people who support physicians and nurses, as well as patients and their families. In every one-on-one interaction we have, each and every day, we are respectful of the dignity of the individual and do our best to focus on their unique needs. Our shared goal is to help deliver the highest quality care possible. We have exciting opportunities in the following areas:

Medical Assistants

Medical Assistants
Medical Assistants play an important role throughout the hospitals of NYU Langone, as well as within our fast-growing Faculty Group Practice Physician Network. Our goal is to accommodate and service our patients within a professional, courteous, and fast-paced environment that ensures a seamless patient experience. Your ability to serve as physician extender in support of our medical and nursing team is vital in our mission to provide world-class patient care.

We will look to you to facilitate efficient service and patient flow, take vitals, maintain accurate medical records, and provide hands-on assistance in the exam room. The ability to communicate effectively with people of all ages and ethnicities is essential for success here, as is completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Certificate Program. An Associate’s degree and at least one year of experience, including EKG and Phlebotomy are strongly preferred of candidates who wish to join us.

Medical Assistants can learn and grow here, with opportunities to move throughout the organization as we continue to expand throughout the tri-state area. We look for team players with positive attitudes, a high degree of initiative, and the leadership qualities to adapt to different settings and take pride in working in practice areas such as:

  • dermatology
  • gastroenterology/endoscopy
  • cardiology
  • orthopedics
  • IVF
  • gynecology
  • psychiatry
  • pediatrics
Nursing Support

Nursing Support Careers
NYU Langone is proud to be a national leader in developing the nursing teams of the future through education, excellence in caring, and hands-on experience within a structured and supportive environment. Patient support technicians, patient care techs, and patient unit assistants all play a valuable role in delivering the evidence-based standard of care that we strictly adhere to at NYU Langone.
