Our most recent addition, the 830,000-square-foot Helen L. and Martin S. Kimmel Pavilion, alongside the acute-care facility Tisch Hospital, offers state-of-the-heart care supported by state-of-the-art technology. Within Tisch, you will also find the Ronald O. Perelman Center for Emergency Services.

In addition, our 16 story Science Building, contains more than 365,000 square feet of research space and 10 floors dedicated to basic and translational research with laboratories. It houses up to 800 researchers, students, postdoctoral fellows and other staff, and will be equipped with all the latest research innovations to form a virtual scientific wonderland. The Science Building aims to transform biomedical research and clinical care at NYU Langone in the coming years.

Department administrators have the important responsibility of overseeing the financial, operational, and administrative functions of NYU Langone’s academic departments across our 3 mission areas. These high-level and highly visible positions are essential to ensuring that all of NYU Langone’s academic departments run in an efficient and productive manner in line with our organizational strategic objectives. We make every effort to ensure that our department administrators succeed and flourish here at NYU Langone. Department administrators along with all of our employees are provided with the latest technology and resources allowing them to provide extremely effective service to both NYU Langone as a whole and to their respective teams.

Academic Administration
Our leaders in academic administration serve a variety of important, influential, and diverse roles. There are numerous academic departments at NYU Grossman School of Medicine and each possesses high-caliber individuals that are at the forefront of providing cutting-edge scientific and medical research for the betterment of society.

In addition to the various leadership positions in our academic departments, NYU Grossman School of Medicine also employs experienced individuals to manage its various academic programs including: the Medical Degree (MD), Dual MD/Master’s Degree, MD/PhD combined degree, Graduate Degree (PhD), Residency and Fellowship Programs, and our Continuing (CME) program. The NYU Grossman School of Medicine is proud to offer every student enrolled in the MD degree program full tuition scholarships. Moreover, NYU Grossman School of Medicine was the first nationally ranked academic medical center in the United States to offer an accelerated three-year MD program known as the Three Year MD Pathway.
