Summary:
The FHC OBGYN physician will povide comprehensive ( routine and emergency) obstetrics and gynocological care to an ethnically and socially diverse patient population in accordance with the values, beliefs and policies of NYU Langone Family Health Centers ( NYULFHC) Ideal candidate will be interested or have experience working in the underserved community.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct clinical care to all assigned patients in accordance with applicable standards of care, FHC policies and procedures
- 7 sessions weekly in FHC ( clinic setting)
- This includes accommodating both walk-in patients and patients with scheduled appointments as appropriate
- Complete any paperwork or documentation necessary to facilitate FHC/NYU Langone billing and reimbursement on timely basis
- This includes but not limited to completing notes and ensuring up-to-date problem and medication lists
- Participate in departmental or network wide quality management and performance improvement activities as requested, including but not limited to education and training efforts and audits of medical records.
- Supervise and/or contribute to training of residents and students in ambulatory setting and timely complete evaluation forms in connection with such supervision and training
- Provide direct patient care and services in Emergency Department and Operating Room of NYU Langone Hospitals
- Responsive to pages/phone calls and other communication methods during business hours and after hours
- ON-CALL SHIFT is defined as a 24 hour period about 3-4 per month
- Meet set forth productivity expectations
Salary:
$250K – $275K incnetives
- Graduated from a US accrediated residency training program
- NYS Medical License
- Board eleigible or board certified OBGYN

Step 1
Apply Online
The NYU Langone hiring process begins with you applying through our online portal. Be sure to update and upload your resume. Shortly after you submit your application, you will receive an email confirmation. Ten days after applying you will receive a talent assessment to be completed.
Step 2
Schedule Interviews
If selected to continue the interview process, HR will reach out via phone or email first. Then, depending on your position, they will schedule an interview with unit managers or team members. You are encouraged to dress professionally for all interviews.
Step 3
Receive Offer
If you successfully complete the interview process and are identified as a finalist for the position, we will require that you complete a professional reference process. After evaluating the completed references, a decision will be made on who will receive a preliminary offer. If you receive a preliminary offer, HR will start the onboarding process with an agreed-upon tentative start date.
Step 4
Training & Orientation
You will be contacted by an onboarding specialist who will work with you on your pre-boarding requirements. Once fully cleared, we will ask you to complete compliance orientation regulatory training. On your first day, you will attend an online required orientation to acclimate to the health system and report to your new department based on instructions provided by your hiring manager.
