Position Overview:
NYU School of Medicine at Woodhull Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Endocrinologist to join our renowned team of healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing a broad range of endocrine conditions, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, adrenal disorders, and osteoporosis. Key Responsibilities:

·         Provide comprehensive medical care for patients with endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid diseases, metabolic disorders, and more.

·         Diagnose and treat endocrine conditions through clinical evaluation, diagnostic testing, and treatment planning.

·         Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

·         Develop individualized treatment plans for patients, including medication management, lifestyle counseling, and follow-up care.

·         Participate in patient education and outreach regarding endocrine health and disease prevention.

·         Stay current with the latest research, treatment protocols, and advancements in endocrinology.

·         Provide guidance and mentorship to medical students, residents, and fellows.

·         Engage in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives.

·         Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with medical standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

·         MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.

·         Completion of an accredited fellowship in Endocrinology.

·         Board certification or board eligibility in Endocrinology.

·         Active and valid medical license in [State].

·         Strong clinical skills with experience in the diagnosis and management of a variety of endocrine conditions.

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to patient-centered care.

·         Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment.

·         Research experience or an interest in academic medicine is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

·         Experience in a clinical academic setting.

·         Interest in participating in ongoing research or clinical trials related to endocrinology.

·         Fluency in additional languages is a plus, but not required.

We offer a competitive compensation package and a stimulating work environment, which includes the following: as outlined below:

  Annual Base Salary offered for this role is:  $230,000-$240,000

        403B/457 participation inclusive of a 10% employer contribution with no employee match required

·         Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement ranging from $3000-$3500 inclusive of one week of paid CME time

·         Projected annual revenue sharing payments of up to $30,000 contingent upon meeting required productivity and compliance metrics
