We’re a leader in diabetes treatment and education, and were the first major teaching hospital in New York State to earn The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for our advanced inpatient diabetes care. Perlmutter Cancer Center at NYU Langone Hospital—Long Island CyberKnife Center was the first of its kind in the New York metro area, and our breast health center was the first in Nassau County to be certified by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers. We’re a Magnet® recognized facility for the quality of our nursing care, and we have received a Baby-FriendlyTM designation by Baby-Friendly USA.
