We are proud to have one of the foremost cardiac programs in the region and one of the top TAVR programs in the country. We’re a leader in diabetes treatment and education and were the first major teaching hospital in New York State to earn The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for our advanced inpatient diabetes care. Perlmutter Cancer Center at NYU Langone Hospital—Long Island CyberKnife Center was the first of its kind in the New York metro area, and our breast health center was the first in Nassau County to be certified by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers. We’re a Magnet® recognized facility for the quality of our nursing care, and we have received a Baby-FriendlyTM designation by Baby-Friendly USA.

NYU Langone Hospital—Long Island is located in Nassau County, east of New York. Though we are only 30+ miles from Manhattan and just 13 miles from JFK Airport, our location offers a slower pace of life and plenty of local charm.
Home to an eclectic mix of shops, family-friendly restaurants and fun bars, Nassau County has something for everyone. If you love the outdoors, you’ll love it here with our stunning beaches, such as Point Lookout Beach, Lido Beach and Joans Beach State Park, and our many wonderful parks, including Norman J. Levy Park and Preserve, Eisenhower Park and Centennial Park.
