Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital at NYU Langone serves young patients and their families in a healing environment dedicated to the medical, surgical, and psychological needs of children. With more than 400 full-time pediatric subspecialists—as well as pediatric nurses, child life specialists, social workers, patient advocates and other allied health professionals, and devoted volunteers—we are uniquely equipped to provide inpatient and outpatient care in a highly personalized manner.

NYU Langone’s plan for providing world-class patient care on our main campus has been achieved through the state-of-the-art 830,000-square-foot Helen L. and Martin S. Kimmel Pavilion, built alongside Tisch Hospital. The Kimmel Pavilion opened in June 2018 and has 11 floors and single-patient rooms with 374 beds devoted to inpatient care.

We have a rich 60-year history of comprehensive and patient-centered care, all made possible by our dedicated and skilled healthcare professionals who work tirelessly to meet the ever-changing needs of our dynamic community.
With more than 700 beds, Tisch Hospital draws patients from the community and around the world. One of our key features is the Ronald O. Perelman Center for Emergency Services, which features 40 patient care treatment rooms and a dedicated pediatrics space. Other notable highlights here include 66 operating rooms; a 32-bed state-of-the-art Critical Care Unit; Yung Hsia Women’s Pavilion; an electrophysiology suite for cardiac arrhythmia; and busy maternity and neonatal intensive care (NICU) specialties.
