Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Part-Time School Health Dental Assistant – Brooklyn, Main site when schools are closed..
In this role, the successful candidate Provides supportive services to the dentist and/ or dental hygienist who is performing the services and/or procedures in all areas of dentistry (General and Specialty practice). The dental assistant will perform duties within the Dental School Health Program network as well as perform duties at FHC sites (as needed). The assistant will float between dental school health and FHC site locations based on operational needs. FHC scheduled hours for the assistant may fluctuate based on operational needs.

To qualify you must have a High School Diploma
1 year experience of chairside dental assisting
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Electronic Dental Record System, Bilingual Spanish or Chinese preferred
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $22.51 – $25.19 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
