Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Occupational Therapist – NYU Langone Ambulatory Care East Meadow – Per Diem.
In this role, the successful candidate Provides safe, therapeutic, age appropriate occupational therapy toHelp patients restore or improve functional physical abilities, promote cognitive and behavioral changes, adapt surroundings to achieve optimal level of daily life (ADL/IADL) tasks. Uses clinical expertise to plan delivery of care through examination, planning, implementation and evaluation.
Job Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelor’s Degree Occupational Therapy (Accreditation Council of Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) approved NYS OT program). Current and valid NYS Occupational Therapy license and registration. Basic Life Support Certification. 1- 2 years Hospital (Inpatient) or Orthopedic or Outpatient or Pediatric Rehabilitation setting. Communication (both written and oral), customer service, and critical thinking skills. Basic computer skills..
Required Licenses: Occup Thrpst License-NYS
Preferred Qualifications:
1- 2 years of outpatient experience and certified hand therapist.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $60.00 – $60.00 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
