Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Speech Therapist, Per Visit/ Home Health Care.
In this role, the successful candidate provides safe, therapeutic, age appropriate speech therapy to improve or restore communication and swallowing efficiency. Plans the delivery of care through examination, evaluation, planning, implementation and re-assessment of human language, voice, speech and swallowing disorders.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Master’s Degree in Speech and Language Pathology Required. Current and valid NYS Speech and Language Pathology license and registration Required. 1-2 years in Hospital or medically related environment with experience in communication, cognition, communication disorders and dysphagia Required. Excellent communication (both written and oral), interpersonal, critical thinking, and customer service skills Required. Basic computer skills Required..
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification of Clinical Competence, Speech-Language Pathology, preferred.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $65.00 – $75.00 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
