Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Patient Unit Associate-TH 12 East Medicine Unit-Evening Shift (35 Hours).
In this role, the successful candidate Support the patient care activities of the nursing unit through maintenance of patient records, supplies, and the environment; coordinates activities with unit staff and other departments; demonstrates clear, concise, accurate and timely communications with members of the health care team, patients families and visitors; incorporates NYU Core Values in all aspects of job performance.
Job Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a High school diploma or equivalent. Computer literacy including but not limited to keyboard facility, data entry, use of hospital intranet. Evidence of excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication skills, and creative problem solving.
Preferred Qualifications:
Clerical, customer service, communications-related experience desirable. English as primary language; other languages desirable.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $45,536.12 – $52,314.01 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
