Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Office Assistant – NYU Langone Ambulatory Care Garden City.
In this role, the successful candidate Responsible for providing basic front-desk support for clinical intake operations. May be responsible for pre-authorizations and certifications with the exception of surgical procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a High School or equivalent. Excellent organizational, interpersonal and verbal and written communications skills, strong customer service skills, and ability to complete multiple tasks efficiently and thrive in a team work environment. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, database and internet applications. Light, accurate keyboarding skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
6 months Physician practice office experience. Knowledge of medical terminologyKnowledge of EPIC Ambulatory.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $51,206.56 – $51,206.56 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
