Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Assistant Project Manager.
In this role, the successful candidate is responsible for providing support to the strategic and operational initiatives led by the Project Management team on the Long Island Campus. Responsible for assisting Project Managers in leading and facilitating operational and clinical initiative project meetings including agenda development, creation of project plans and following up on deliverables. Assists department leadership and the Project Management team in planning project activities to ensure deliverables and other work is produced in a timely manner and in accordance with established expectations.
Job Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelor’s Degree required
2+ years of relevant progressive experience in an operational or strategic planning role.
Experience with data analysis.
Knowledge of project management tools, methods, and best practices.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
Excellent written and oral communication skills applicable to a wide variety of audiences.
Ability to exercise discretion, good independent judgment, and independent thinking in selecting the optimal course of action.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in healthcare, business administration or a related field preferred.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $64,382.25 – $80,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
