Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Clinical Pharmacotherapy Specialist – Critical Care – NYU Langone Hospital Long Island.
In this role, the successful candidate assists in providing specialized pharmaceutical services to include advising physicians on matters pertaining to drug usage and control within assigned Hospital locations; and participates in the development and delivery of continuing education programs for Pharmacy, Patient Care Services, Medical staff and students.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Post Doctoral Pharm D. Current New York State Pharmacy License and current NYS Registration. PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency Training. PGY-2 graduate with 1-2 years of specialty clinical pharmacy practice experience, OR PGY-1 graduate with a board certification plus 5-7 years of specialty clinical pharmacy practice experience.
Excellent communication (both oral and written), interpersonal, organizational skills. Computer skills (including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). Knowledge of Pharmacy software..
Required Licenses: Pharmacist License-NYS
Preferred Qualifications:
PGY-2 Pharmacy Specialty Training preferred.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $178,240.75 – $198,713.29 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
