Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a BA in health policy, psychology, public health, public policy, healthcare administration, pediatrics, medicine, or related field. MA, MPH, or PhD very strongly preferred. 2+ years previous research and management experience preferred. 4+ years previous experience in healthcare or health systems, with experience and/or strong understanding of billing/reimbursement systems, medical billing, healthcare redesign, pediatric healthcare policies, Medicaid policies, and/or state/federal reimbursement policies preferred. Previous experience engaging with policy makers, stakeholders, or agencies related to reimbursement policies. Clear interest in child health, pediatrics, public health, or healthcare systems. Exceptionally strong independent writing, organization, research, and communication skills.
This position is based in NYC at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. A mixture of in-person work in NYC and hybrid work is required.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $67,771.14 – $88,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
