Every year, NYU Langone Health’s radiology experts and technicians provide over 300,000 New Yorkers with safe, high-quality imaging services. Our Radiology department consists of 230+ board-certified radiologist, 65 physicians-in-training, and more than 1,400 technologist, nurses and physician assistants. Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Radiology Technologist, Per Diem / Hospital Radiology.
In this role, the successful candidate, under the direction of a Radiologist, operates radiologic equipment to produce clinical diagnostic images and performs routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices
Job Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify, you must have a High School Diploma or GED required, Technical Diploma Graduate of AMA approved school of Radiology or Imaging Services required. Current New York State Radiologic technician license OR New Graduate with temporary Permit. Must become registered before expiration of temporary permit required. American Registry of Radiologic Technologist ARRT required within 6 month of hire. Strong communication both written and oral problem solving and customer service skills required. Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Required Thorough knowledge of Radiography equipment required.
Preferred Qualifications:
1- 2 years of Radiologic Technology experience preferred

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $47.00 – $47.00 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
