Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Associate, Scheduling & Registration / Radiology Department.
In this role, the successful candidate schedules appointments in Hospital Information Systems Liaison with referring physicians office staff Answers and filters phone calls accordingly in a timely manner and utilizes Cyracom when necessary. Responsible for the pre-registration and completing the registration process, creates the first impression of the institution s services to patients families and other external customers, obtains demographic information prescriptions and applicable medical documents and insurance information, ensures patients families and other external customers understands, required, Financial responsibilities and expectations and assumes clinical and financial risk of the organization when collecting and documenting information on behalf of the patient.
Job Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify, you must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent. 1-2 years Customer Service experience. Strong communication both oral and written multitasking detail orientation organizational excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office applications Excel Word and Outlook. Knowledge of medical terminology.
Preferred Qualifications:
1-2 years scheduling experience in a medical office or a Healthcare facility setting. Knowledge of software systems i.e. Epic Carestream Soarian etc.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $39,878.31 – $54,600.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
