Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, in Nursing, Public Health, Healthcare or science related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience working in a Clinical Research Organization (CRO), hospital, medical center or academic medical setting, including 6+ years of experience leading clinical trials and/or large observational human clinical research studies across multiple institutions. Implementing clinical research protocols across multisite/multicenter experience a must, including developing and implementing research plans, training plans, SOPs, Manual of Operations (MOPs), monitoring and data safety plans, and site payments.
- Must have progressive leadership experience. In-depth knowledge and understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and human subject research with ability to align strategies with programmatic objectives.
- Proven success in developing and training clinical research staff in areas of project planning across lifespan or a clinical research study in a multisite setting (i.e., site identification, onboarding, training, management, and close-out). Strong knowledge and proven success executing complex clinical research protocols.
- Supervisory and management experience, including management of indirect reports in a matrixed environment.
- Ability to simultaneously conceive, manage, execute, and coordinate multiple projects within tight timelines and budget parameters.
- Demonstrated success in building reporting systems to track site activation and participant recruitment.
- Experience (10+ years) leading large complex programs in a matrixed organization with demonstrated director-level experience leading these programs with clear markers of success that lead the program to grow and meet strategic goals.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $117,107.95 – $135,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
