Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Research Data Associate. In this role, the Research Data Associate will support several projects relating to the impact that environmental factors have on children’s health and development. Currently our team is working on studies requiring team members to collect process and store biological and medical history data for NYU Factors Influencing Reproductive Success and Time to pregnancy (NYU FIRST); NYU Children’s Health & Environment Study (NYU CHES); Environmental influences on child health outcomes (ECHO); NYU Pediatric Obesity, Metabolism and Kidney Cohort Center. This position will support a growing program of work assisting mainly with day-to-day research activities and data collection.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have an Associate’s degree plus one year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer literate with good interpersonal, writing and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree plus 1 year of related experience in a healthcare, research, or educational environment. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Strong interpersonal and communications skills, including written and verbal skills. Ability to prioritize work, operate under tight deadlines, and meet deadlines. Excellent organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail. Ability to operate independently and with good judgment. Proficiency with various software packages, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, etc. Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $51,243.96 – $51,251.20 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
