Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Per Diem Faculty Group Practice Nuclear Tech. Performs medically prescribed nuclear medicine procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
- Executes equipment set-up, utilization, and proper maintenance procedures.
- Operates hospital and radiology information systems as they relate to nuclear medicine.
- Effectively assesses patients’ information and status, and follows appropriate procedure(s) accor.
- Independently implements patient procedures by departmental protocols and standards.
- Independently implements non-imaging procedures by departmental protocols and standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have an Associate’s Degree and Completion of a Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) recognized nuclear medicine technology program. Eligible to take certification exam in Nuclear Medicine by either the: Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Required Licenses: Nuclear Med Tech Cert (NMTCB).
Preferred Licenses: Am Registry Of Radiologic Tech
Preferred Qualifications:
Completion of an associate degree or baccalaureate degree in nuclear medicine technology
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
