Every year, NYU Langone Health’s radiology experts and technicians provide over 300,000 New Yorkers with safe, high-quality imaging services. Our Radiology department consists of 230+ board-certified radiologist, 65 physicians-in-training, and more than 1,400 technologist, nurses and physician assistants. Many of our radiologists practice specialized imaging that focuses on various patient types and body parts, but all our staff follow our strict safety guidelines in order to protect themselves, our patients and others from unnecessary radiation exposure.

Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Per Diem Faculty Group Practice Nuclear Tech. Performs medically prescribed nuclear medicine procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have an Associate’s Degree and Completion of a Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) recognized nuclear medicine technology program. Eligible to take certification exam in Nuclear Medicine by either the: Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Required Licenses: Nuclear Med Tech Cert (NMTCB).
Preferred Licenses: Am Registry Of Radiologic Tech
Preferred Qualifications:
Completion of an associate degree or baccalaureate degree in nuclear medicine technology
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
