Woodhull Medical Center, an affiliate of NYU Grossman School of Medicine, is a 417-bed community hospital providing primary, specialty and acute care services to the residents of Williamsburg, Greenpoint, Bushwick, and North Brooklyn. We are seeking a full-time Associate Director who will assist the Director to oversee the Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP) within the Department of Psychiatry. Our CPEP is a state-of-the-art emergency psychiatric service. CPEP provides a spectrum of services designed to meet the needs of our diverse clientele, in the most effective and least restrictive manner possible. Reporting to the Director of CPEP, the successful candidate will oversee all clinical and administrative activities within the CPEP including the delivery of high quality and efficient patient care.
Responsibilities Include:
· Assist the Director of CPEP in providing Clinical and Administrative oversight within CPEP including the delivery of high quality and efficient patient care:
Requirements:
-Licensed in the state of NY
-Board Certification
-3 years’ experience working in a CPEP environment preferred
-Bilingual English & Spanish preferred
