Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Lead Platform Engineer.
In this role, the successful Lead Engineer (Platform) is responsible for ensuring that the platforms are kept up to date with the latest software and security updates, utilizing automation technology and collaborating throughout IT organization. This individual must have a strong and broad technical background that encompasses cloud automation, operating system engineering and administration, software development principles and techniques, network protocols, information security, and database systems.
Job Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelors degree in a related field (Computer Science preferred)
5+ years of relevant experience, including experience with Windows and VMware in medium to large environments, experience with PowerShell/Ansible.
Including 2+ years of professional software engineering experience with a significant amount of time spent working with APIs, within a virtualized infrastructure environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience within a healthcare environment is preferred
5+ years with vROPs, vRA/vRO, SRM
5+ years experience with Windows Operating Systems (2016 and above)
5+ years experience with Cisco UCS, Dell server hardware

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $110,479.19 – $141,773.81 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
